At OrangeHomes and Orange Decor, we strive to deliver high-quality interior design solutions and home decor items. If a product doesn’t meet your expectations due to damage, defects, or incorrect specifications, we offer options to resolve the issue. OrangeHomes Interior Design Products
Our interior design products, such as furniture and modular installations, are crafted with care. If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or doesn’t match the agreed specifications at delivery, we offer the following options:
Return Options
- Rectify/Replace: We will repair or replace the defective or damaged product at no additional cost.
- Exchange: Exchange the product for another item. If the new product’s value exceeds the original order value, you’ll need to pay the difference. If the new product’s value is lower, we’ll issue a refund or store credit for the difference, based on your preference.
- Store Credit: Receive store credit in your OrangeHomes VIP account or a coupon, depending on your account type, to use on future purchases.
Return Conditions
- Timeframe: You must notify us within 3 days of delivery to initiate a return.
- Condition: Products must be unused, with original price tags, labels, and packaging intact.
- Invoice: The original invoice must be presented at the time of return.
- Inspection: Our quality assurance team will inspect the product within 72 hours of your request. Returns are processed only if the product passes our standard quality assurance test.
- Exclusions:
- Customized furniture pieces cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Modular kitchens and wardrobes, being made-to-order, cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Products with non-manufacturing defects or damages caused after delivery (e.g., misuse or improper handling) are not eligible for return or replacement.
How to Request a Return
- Contact Us: Email hello@theorangehomes.com within 3 days of delivery with your order details and reason for return.
- Inspection: An OrangeHomes executive will visit your site within 72 hours to inspect the product. If approved, your return, replacement, or exchange will be initiated promptly.
- Timeline: Replacement timelines vary by product. Our representative will keep you updated, ensuring your new product reaches you as soon as possible.
- Refunds/Store Credit: If applicable, refunds or store credit will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval to your original payment method or account.
Orange Decor
Our e-commerce platform, Orange Decor, offers a curated selection of home decor items. Due to the delicate and fragile nature of these products, we have a strict policy to ensure fairness while protecting our small business. Returns are accepted only for severe manufacturing defects, with no refunds for transportation damage.
Return Conditions
- Timeframe: You must notify us within 3 days of delivery to initiate a return.
- Eligibility: Returns are accepted only for severe manufacturing defects (e.g., broken or unusable items due to production errors).
- Condition: Products must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags and labels intact.
- Invoice: The original invoice must be presented.
- Inspection: Our quality assurance team will inspect the item within 72 hours of your return request. Only items with verified manufacturing defects will be approved.
- Exclusions:
- No returns or refunds for damage caused during transportation, as we ensure all items are securely packaged before dispatch.
- Variations in color, shade, or shape compared to website images (due to lighting, screen settings, or natural material differences) are not grounds for return.
- Customized or personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Items used (e.g., for one-day decoration), damaged by customers (e.g., by children or mishandling), or returned due to a change of mind are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Fragile items (e.g., glass decor, ceramics) are non-returnable unless they have severe manufacturing defects.
Return Options
- Replacement: We will replace the defective item with an identical or comparable product, subject to availability, at no additional cost.
- Store Credit: If a replacement is not available, you’ll receive store credit to your Orange Decor account for future purchases.
- No Refunds: Due to the nature of our small e-commerce business, we do not offer cash refunds for home decor items.
How to Request a Return
- Contact Us: Email support@orangedecor.com within 3 days of delivery with your order details, photos of the defect, and a description of the issue.
- Inspection: We’ll arrange for the item to be inspected, either via courier pickup or onsite visit, within 72 hours. If approved, your replacement or store credit will be processed.
- Shipping: Return shipping costs are covered by Orange Decor only for approved manufacturing defects. You are responsible for secure packaging to prevent further damage during return transit.
- Timeline: Replacements will be shipped within 5-7 business days after approval, subject to availability. Store credit will be issued within 7-10 business days.
Important Notes
- OrangeHomes: Customized and made-to-order items (e.g., modular kitchens, wardrobes) are non-returnable. Returns are processed only after quality assurance approval.
- Orange Decor: Returns are limited to severe manufacturing defects to protect our small business from frivolous returns (e.g., change of mind, minor aesthetic variations, or customer-caused damage). No refunds are offered for transportation damage or other exclusions.
- Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to refuse returns if we suspect misuse, fraud, or repeated return requests.
