At Orange Homes and Orange Decor, we make payments simple, secure, and hassle-free, whether you’re designing your dream space or shopping for home decor. Below are our payment policies for both brands.
Introduction
Orange Homes offers interior design services with milestone-based payments to ensure transparency, while Orange Decor provides a seamless checkout process for home decor purchases. This Payment Policy outlines accepted payment methods, transaction security, fees, and terms for both Orange Homes projects and Orange Decor orders.
Orange Homes Interior Design Projects
We offer flexible payment options and clear terms to support your interior design project, from booking to completion.
Payment Methods
- Online Payments: Pay securely using major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or bank/wire transfers. All payments must be made to the company’s bank account.
- Offline Payments: Cheques or demand drafts must be issued in favor of “ORANGE HOMES DESIGN & CONSULTING.”
- Account Details: Payments must be made to the bank account specified in your contract or invoice.
Transaction Security
- Guarantee: We prioritize your financial privacy. All online transactions are processed through PayU, which is VeriSign Secured® and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant, meeting strict global standards for handling cardholder information.
- Safety: Transact with confidence, knowing your payment details are protected by industry-leading encryption.
Transaction Failures
- No Deduction: If an online transaction fails, no amount is deducted from your account or card.
- Tips: Ensure a stable internet connection and verify all entered details (e.g., card number, UPI ID) to avoid failures.

Payment Terms for Projects
- Project Definition: A project refers to a home design undertaking for a single home. Multiple orders (e.g., modular products, civil work) may be placed within a project, with payments processed per order.
- Booking Fee: To book your project, pay a booking fee of 5% of the final quote or ₹20,000 (whichever is higher). This fee is adjusted against future orders. If the project scope increases significantly, an additional 5% fee for the new scope may be required before design begins.
- Milestone-Based Payments:
- Payments are tied to predefined execution milestones outlined in your design proposal or contract (e.g., design completion, material delivery, installation).
- Invoices are raised upon completion of each milestone, payable within 2 days via cheque, bank transfer, or payment gateway.
- Milestones cannot be broken down due to dependencies.
- Order Payments: If the booking fee is adjusted against an order, subsequent orders require a 50% upfront payment.
- Interest on Overdue Payments: Accounts not settled by their due date incur 5% interest per month, added monthly until payment is received.
- Delays: Payment delays may postpone project milestones and subsequent stages. Orange Homes is not liable for delays caused by late payments.
- Cancellation: If a project is cancelled, the terms specified in our Cancellation Policy will apply.
Payment Gateway Fee
- First Installment: The gateway fee is waived for the first installment.
- Subsequent Payments: A non-refundable 2% gateway fee (including GST) is charged per transaction.
- Invoices: Download invoices from your OrangeHomes Account Portal.
Orange Decor Home Decor Items
Our e-commerce platform, Orange Decor, offers a straightforward payment process for home decor purchases, designed to be secure and efficient.
Payment Methods
- Online Payments: Pay securely using major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or net banking. All payments are processed through our trusted payment gateway.
- Cash on Delivery: Not available, to ensure secure transactions and protect our small business.
- Account Details: Payments must be made to the bank account or payment gateway court specified in your contract or invoice.
Transaction Security
- Guarantee: All transactions are processed through PayU, which is VeriSign Secured® and PCI compliant, ensuring your payment details are protected with robust encryption.

Payment Terms for Orders
- Full Payment: Orders require 100% upfront payment at checkout to confirm your purchase.
- No Installments: Due to the nature of our curated home decor items, we do not offer installment plans or partial payments.
- Order Confirmation: Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with order details and estimated delivery time.
- Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled before dispatch with a full refund, as outlined in our Cancellation Policy. No refunds are issued after dispatch, except for severe manufacturing defects (see Return, Exchange & Refund Policy).
- Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to cancel orders or request additional verification if we suspect fraudulent activity.
Payment Gateway Fee
- Fee: A non-refundable 2% gateway fee (including GST) is charged per transaction.
- Transparency: The fee is displayed at checkout for clarity.
General Terms for Both Brands
- Currency: All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed for international orders.
- International Payments: For orders outside India, additional bank or currency conversion fees may apply, borne by the customer.
- Invoice Access: Orange Homes customers can download invoices from the Account Portal. Orange Decor customers receive invoices via email or account access.
- Disputes: Any payment disputes must be reported within 7 days of the transaction to o.homes@hotmail.com (Orange Homes) or support@orangedecor.com (Orange Decor).
- Compliance: We adhere to all applicable financial regulations and reserve the right to update payment terms to comply with legal requirements.
